CHARLOTTE, N.C. — A four-year-old was hit by a car in southwest Charlotte on Tuesday and was left in the middle of Hemphill Street.
Mecklenburg EMS officials said the child was taken to the hospital with possible life-threatening injuries.
A neighbor told Channel 9 the driver got out to check on the child but left before the parents arrived.
