Churches take different approaches on holding Easter services

CHARLOTTE — The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention released new guidance on how to celebrate Easter weekend safely.

People can safely get together with friends and family members without wearing masks only if they have been fully vaccinated, according to the CDC.

The agency says that those who have not been fully vaccinated should restrict themselves to gathering with their household or gathering outdoors.
