• Citations issued for drivers who leave vehicles running while unattended


    CHARLOTTE, N.C. - Charlotte-Mecklenburg police officers will start issuing citations for drivers who leave their vehicles running while unattended in public places.

    In the past, CMPD officers issued warnings and handed out flyers.
