City of York mourns, honors former Mayor

YORK, S.C. — The city of York is mourning and honoring the man who served the community for more than half a century.

Bill Brice died at the age of 84.

When Brice was 28-years-old, he became York's youngest mayor and served until 1968 when he became the city's attorney.

Brice held his position as city attorney until he died late Friday night.
