Cleveland Co. deputies: 7 behind car break-ins

CLEVELAND COUNTY, N.C. — Cleveland County deputies believe that several people are behind a string of car break-ins.

Authorities said the thieves broke into seven cars last Tuesday or Wednesday on Benton Road in Kings Mountain.

The thieves got away with thousands of dollars worth of stolen property from cars that were left unlocked.
