• Cleveland Co. fugitive caught in Virginia


    CLEVELAND COUNTY, N.C. - A man wanted for at least 10 robberies in Shelby is heading back to Cleveland County after being tracked down in Virginia.
    Regis Wright is accused of robbing convenience stores at gunpoint.
    Authorities said he took off on foot when they tried arresting him in Virginia and later were able to make the arrest.
