• Club security guard shot trying to stop car break-ins, police say

    CHARLOTTE, N.C. - A security guard is in serious but stable condition after he was shot while on-duty at the Club Cabaret 124 strip club.

    Officers cleared the scene at Atando Avenue, just off North Tryon Street, around 4:15 a.m.

    They said the man was shot around 1:30 a.m. while trying to stop car break-ins.

    Police still have not made any arrests in connection with the shooting.

    Investigators have not released the victim’s name.
