CMPD asks for help identifying men connected to robbery

CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department is asking for the public's help to identify the people in photographs in connection with a robbery.
 
On Thursday around 6:55 p.m., the men entered the Tru Food Mart at 2507 Westerly Hills Drive in the Freedom Division.  A victim stated that the suspects brandished a firearm and demanded property from the victim's business.  
 
The suspects took several cartons of cigarettes and fled the scene on foot in an unknown direction.  The victim was not injured. 
 
The first robber was described about 5 feet 10 inches tall, medium build, with a beard and was last seen wearing a black long-sleeved shirt and khaki pants.  The second was described as 5 feet 10 inches tall, average build, and was last seen wearing a black long-sleeve shirt, black jeans and a Panthers hat.
