CHARLOTTE, N.C. — UPDATE: Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police say they have located Paul Williams after he was reported missing after 7 p.m. Friday night.
Officials say they found Williams by the Cottageville South Carolina Police Department. Williams w as transported to Colleton Medical Center for evaluation.
Williams' family has been notified.

Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police are searching a missing man who is believed to have dementia or some other cognitive impairment.
The North Carolina Center for Missing Persons issued a Silver Alert for 82-year-old Paul Willie Williams, who went missing from his home on Trinity Road.
Williams was last seen in a white t-shirt and blue jeans. He is approximately 5'6" and weighs 160 pounds.
Officials say he is driving a Chevrolet Silverado with a double cab, silver rims, and a black cover on the back.
Williams is believed to be traveling toward Winston Salem, N.C., according to authorities.
