CMPD: Man drove 20 minutes after being stabbed at Charlotte park

CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Paramedics rushed a man to the hospital after police said he had been stabbed late Sunday night in south Charlotte.

Officers said the incident happened before 11 p.m. on the baseball diamond at Grayson Park on Beale Street, near Wendover Road.

After being stabbed, the victim drove 20 minutes to a home on Colgate Circle in northwest Charlotte, where he called 911.

Investigators told Channel 9 they don't have a lot of information because there were no witnesses.

Authorities have not released a condition update and no arrests have been made.
