• CMPD: Man shot in back in west Charlotte


    CHARLOTTE, N.C. - Charlotte-Mecklenburg police are trying to figure out who shot a man in the back early Monday morning in west Charlotte.

    Officers responded to the shooting around 1 a.m. on Seymour Drive.

    Police think the man may have been shot during an attempted robbery and hope to get more answers from him when he's awake from surgery.

    No arrests have been made.
