• CMPD requests help identifying Yorkmont Road robbers


    CHARLOTTE, N.C. - Robbery detectives with the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department have requested assistance in identifying possible suspects in an armed robbery.

    On Tuesday, Nov. 20, four black males approached the victims at Yorkmont Road.

    The men robbed the victims at gunpoint.

    Once the robbers took the victims' property they fled the scene in an unknown direction.

    The victims in the incident were not injured.

    Anyone with information concerning the names of the men is asked to contact the Crime Stoppers tip line at 704-334-1600.
