CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Charlotte-Mecklenburg police are looking for a suspect who they said shot a man several times overnight Wednesday in south Charlotte.
The shooting happened on Farmhurst Drive near Nations Ford Road around 12:15 a.m. Wednesday.
Police said they think the shooter was in a car and the victim was on the street at the time of the shooting.
Police told Channel 9 even though the victim was shot multiple times, he is expected to survive.
Investigators were not able to give a good description of the suspect or the car.
