CMPD searching for man accused of armed robbery at southwest Charlotte convenience store

CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police are asking for the public’s help to identify a man who is accused of an armed robbery at a convenience store early Saturday morning.

Officers said a man went into a BP Gas Station on Westinghouse Boulevard around 1 a.m. and robbed the store at gunpoint.

Police described the suspect as wearing a white t-shirt, black sweatpants and black shoes. They said he also has a goatee.
