• CMPD: SUV that struck home was stolen


    CHARLOTTE, N.C. -  An SUV that ran into a home was stolen, according to Charlotte-Mecklenburg police officers.

    The accident happened around 5:15 p.m. on Simmons Street at Midland Avenue.

    Police said they have taken a few people into custody.
