CMS students hosting town hall to discuss ways to improve school safety

CHARLOTTE, N.C. — CMS has taken several steps to improve safety in schools and now students want to do more.

Students are working with a nonprofit called Project Bolt to host a town hall Sunday evening at the Delta House on Beatties Ford Road.

The conversation comes as the district launched a new social media campaign called "Guns Can't" to show positive things students can do instead of gun violence.
