Coastal North Carolina home in running for HGTV show

WRIGHTSVILLE BEACH, N.C. — A waterfront, custom-designed home in coastal North Carolina is among the finalists in the running for HGTV’s Ultimate House Hunt.

The $2.8 million home, designed by Scott Sullivan of Sullivan Design Co., sits along North Channel Drive in Wrightsville Beach, near Wilmington.

Built in 2016, it has four bedrooms and three bathrooms and boasts energy-efficient features such as solar panels, a tankless water heater and spray-foam insulation.

HGTV’s contest offers viewers a visual tour of homes for sale and a chance to win $10,000. Online voting runs through July 17.
