Common Market opens latest location in Rock Hill

ROCK HILL, S.C. — Common Market Rock Hill is in its soft-opening phase.

The 4,300-square-foot deli and general store is located at 161 W. Main Street, close to the heart of downtown Rock Hill.

Common Market opened with limited hours last week as it awaits its alcohol license. The goal is to be fully operational this week, says Graham Worth, one of Common Market’s owners.

“We just needed to open,” Worth says.

That project was first announced in September 2020. Common Market operates locations in South End, Plaza Midwood and Charlotte’s Oakwold neighborhood.

This is the first location outside of the core Charlotte market for the brand.

“It made us very nervous, but also excited. We’ve had an incredible reception from the community down here,” Worth says.

The Rock Hill store offers a deli, breakfast offerings and other grab-and-go market items as well as a selection of wine and beer.
