CONCORD, N.C. — Crime numbers have been at a historic low in Concord, the 11th largest city in the state, according to police.
Channel 9’s Susanna Black spoke with police, who said they credit the low numbers to a new strategy implemented by Chief Gary Gacek.
“Concord, to me, seems to do community policing, and I think the simple fact that people know the officers is a big plus,” said Concord resident Rodney Sharp.
