RALEIGH, N.C. — A Concord woman was killed while trying to cross a street in Raleigh Saturday night, officials told Channel 9 affiliate WTVD.
Brandi Mantooth was trying to cross Glenwood Avenue near Triangle Drive around 10 p.m., authorities said. She was hit by a car driven by a Wilson man.
The Associated Press reports that the driver will not be charged.
