CABARRUS COUNTY, N.C. — Part of a heavily traveled road will soon be under construction in Cabarrus County.
The stretch of U.S. Highway 29 between George Liles Parkway and Rock Hill Church Road will be resurfaced after Labor Day.
The project is part of 10 miles of roadway set to be resurfaced in a $2.4 million project.
The work is expected to last into June 2019.
