HUNTERSVILLE, N.C. — A construction worker was rushed to the hospital Thursday after a tree fell on him in Huntersville, police say.
They said the man was helping to clear a site along Vanstory Drive when the accident happened.
He was taken to the hospital with life-threatening injuries.

Police said the Occupational Safety and Health Administration will help investigate the accident.
The man’s name has not been released.
