Couple showcases passion for travel, archeology at new Lake Norman brewery

CORNELIUS, N.C. — Lost Worlds Brewing will serve as a “basecamp” for craft-beer drinkers in the Lake Norman market.

Husband-and-wife team Dave and Allison Hamme’s interest in craft beer led them to home brewing nearly three decades ago.

“There just wasn’t the flavors, different styles available back then,” Dave said.

Now, they’re leaving behind careers as business consultants to tackle their own venture. Lost Worlds Brewing melds the couple’s love of craft brews with a passion for travel and archeology.

Lost Worlds has snagged a 4,800-square foot space at 19700-D One Norman Boulevard in Cornelius.
