LENOIR, N.C. - Two people were arrested Friday in connection with the fatal shooting of a 15-year-old from Lenoir.

The teenager’s cousin is accused of firing the fatal shot inside a friend’s apartment.
Channel 9 reporter Dave Faherty spoke with Christy Eanes, who was renting the apartment where the shooting happened.
Police said she was accused of providing alcohol to minors.
Eanes, who rents the apartment where Kent Taylor died last week, is charged with felony child abuse and four counts of contributing to the delinquency of a minor.
Earlier this week, Eanes took Channel 9 inside the apartment and showed where the shooting happened. She said it was an accident.

At the time, she placed much of the blame on Dusty Boston, who police said fired the gun.
"I told them I wasn't here,” she said. “I did not know he had a gun. I did not know he had alcohol. I did not know any of that. And they said, 'It doesn't matter. You're responsible for your apartment, whether you're there or not.'"
Police said Boston was negligent and had consumed alcohol before the shooting.

He is charged with involuntary manslaughter.
He wouldn't answer any questions about the incident, police said.
Eanes, who showed Eyewitness News earlier this week how she tried to comfort the teenager in the minutes after learning of the shooting, had a message for Taylor’s mother.
"I just want to say to Kent’s mama that I love her and I'm sorry all this has happened,” she said.
