IREDELL COUNTY, N.C. — The westbound lanes of Interstate 40 in Iredell County were shut down Monday night after a crash, according to drivenc.gov.

The crash happened near North Carolina Highway 115 close to Statesville. The road was reopened by 10:40 p.m., troopers said.
No further information has been released on the crash.
Motorists were advised to take Exit 152-A to I-77 South, follow I-77 South to Exit 49-A, and take Exit 49-A to US 70 West. Turn left onto US 70 West, follow US 70 West to the on-ramps for I-40, and then take the on-ramp to re-access I-40 at Exit 148.
