CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Crews worked to free a worker who was trapped in a tree 40 feet off the ground in south Charlotte Wednesday.
Officials were called to the scene off Adrian Court, not far from Sardis Road, after 11:30 a.m.
The Charlotte Fire Department said it took firefighters nearly 30 minutes to rescue the worker.
Officials said the person had injuries and was evaluated by first responders after being freed from the tree.
No other details were released.
