• Crews work to repair water main break on Woodlawn

    CHARLOTTE, N.C. - The Charlotte-Mecklenburg Utilities Department is responding to the second water main break on Woodlawn Road, according to officials.

    A water main was called in Thursday on Woodlawn Road, according to CMUD. It was fixed.

    CMUD was called to a second break around 9:30 a.m. Friday. Crews are on site as of 11:30 a.m. They have not determined how long it will take to repair.

    CMUD officials said they don’t expect any lane closures, but that could change.
