LANCASTER COUNTY, S.C. — Deputies said they are investigating a murder-suicide in Lancaster County.
The incident happened around 11 p.m. Saturday on Bob White Road in the Rich Hill area.
Deputies said a 24-year-old man shot his ex-girlfriend before shooting himself outside a home where Channel 9's Greg Suskin was told the 27-year-old woman lived.
Their names have not been released at this point.
Deputies said the two were talking in the roadway behind the man's truck when the shooting happened.
According to authorities, when they arrived at the scene, they pronounced the woman dead but took the man to a hospital, where he later died.
No other details have been released.
