CHESTERFIELD COUNTY, S.C. — Police said they caught a person accused of murder after a man was found shot to death in a car Monday night in Chesterfield County.
Officials said has been searching for Shyheem Ingram, 22, since Tuesday after they found 18-year-old Sedrick Covington dead around 10 p.m. in the driver's seat of a vehicle on Smithfield Church Road near Cheraw.
Channel 9 learned the two men were involved in an ongoing dispute, but deputies have not said if that's the reason for the shooting.
Authorities have not said where and how Ingram was found.
