CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Construction began on The Village on Morehead, a 199-apartment community for older adults, early last week.
The project is spearheaded by Bridgewood Property Co. and Harrison Street. It is expected to be complete in the fall of 2023.
The 12-story building will include both independent- and assisted-living spaces. Amenities for residents will include casual dining options, a fitness center, cinema, indoor pool, lecture hall, libraries and a room for card games.
