• Man arrested in connection with foster home fire

    CHARLOTTE - A fire at 8233 Four Sisters Lane in Charlotte left one fire captain with second-degree burns to his back and neck Sunday morning. The captain was transported to Carolinas Medical Center for treatment.

    No other injuries were reported.

    The Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department said Brian Williams, 23, was arrested Sunday. He was charged with first-degree arson and has a secured bond of $20,000.

    The American Red Cross is responding to the fire, which according to the Red Cross, affected four adults and two children. 

    The fire is still under investigation.
