The Black Political Caucus originally endorsed Jessica Davis for District 2, however not all votes were counted.

Officials said the first tally did not include all 148 votes.

It turns out, former State Senator and city council member Malcolm Graham received the most votes, which earned him the endorsement.

Graham received 43 percent of the votes and Davis got 40 percent.

The Black Political Caucus said the initial error in the tally was due to a technical issue with the software used to count endorsement votes.
