HUDSON, N.C. — The Highway Patrol said an accident reconstruction expert will review evidence from the Caldwell County wreck scene where a 15-year-old boy was hit near his home.
The expert will review the information before forwarding it to the district attorney.
Grayson Walker and his family were trying to get their dog that had been hit and killed by a car out of the roadway when Grayson was hit.
He was airlifted to the hospital where he was in critical condition late Tuesday.
