BURKE COUNTY, N.C. — Nearly two dozen family members and friends gathered to remember a teenage girl in Burke County shot and killed by her boyfriend.
Jeremy Shayne Baldridge, 23, of Valdese, is now serving 28 to 35 years in prison after pleading guilty to second-degree murder.
