MOORESVILLE, NC — An Iredell County elementary school playground littered with caution tape and falling apart.

The community isn't happy with the state of the playground at Coddle Creek Elementary in Mooresville.
Officials said they used second-hand equipment to save money, but parents told Channel 9 the playground is dangerous and several kids have been injured.
