• Rock Hill business deemed total loss after overnight fire

    ROCK HILL, S.C. - Firefighters were on the scene of an overnight business fire at Rock Hill Tire and Alignment Company Friday morning.

    The business is in the 400 block of Albright Road and officials told Eyewitness News that the entire building caught fire around 3 a.m.

    Police closed Albright between Eighth Street and Flint Street Extension for nearly three hours as firefighters worked to get the fire under control.

    No injuries have been reported but the building has been deemed a total loss. Investigators are still trying to determine a cause.

    Eyewitness News spoke with the building owner who said the property has been in her family for years and that the building was not insured.
