Fire in Salisbury displaces family on Sunday

SALISBURY, N.C. — A house caught fire roughly a half block from the fire station in Rowan County.

The fire started around 8 a.m. Sunday on East Fisher Street in Salisbury.

The fire gutted the home, displacing the family.

Firefighters spent hours at the house making sure the fire was completely out.

Firefighters have not stated what caused the fire at this time.

The family was home when the fire started, but are all OK.
