• Firefighters battle overnight house fire in north Charlotte

    CHARLOTTE, N.C. - Fire investigators in north Charlotte were working to find out what caused an overnight house fire.

    Firefighters said the home on Feldbank Drive caught fire just before 4 a.m. Friday.
     
    Fire crews said the family was inside at the time but were able to get out safely. No one was injured.

    The home was damaged but they are able to stay in it.

    Officials believe the fire may have been electrical.
