CHERRYVILLE, N.C. — Cherryville Fire Department battle two fires this weekend in Cherryville.
One on Sussex Street happened around 6 a.m. No people were injured but two pets died.
A trailer fire happened Sunday around midnight. People in the home were OK but two pets died. A woman said she was awakened by her kitten. The fire was at the Upchurch Mobile Home Park.
