PINEVILLE, N.C. — Dozens of first responders wrapped up a six-day, 620-mile bike ride across the Carolinas.
The annual Carolina Brotherhood ride, which honors fallen first responders, ended in Pineville on Saturday.
Saturday’s ride honored Pineville volunteer firefighter Richard Sheltra who died battling a fire in 2016.

Money raised from the ride will be distributed to families who have lost a loved one in the line of duty.
