FORECAST: Heat sticking around, but chance of rain on the rise ahead of holiday weekend

Forecast:

• Mostly clear skies are in the forecast for Thursday and Friday.
• Humidity will be lower with highs near 90 degrees.
• However, muggy conditions will increase through the holiday weekend, which means more clouds and the return of some afternoon showers and thunderstorms.
• Highs will be in the mid-to-upper-80s for several days starting Saturday.
