School delays:

Ashe, Avery and Watauga counties are on a two-hour delay on Friday.

FORECAST:

• Friday and Saturday will bring clear conditions and cool temperatures.
• Highs on Friday will be in the upper-40s and on Saturday in the mid-50s.
• Showers move in Sunday and into Monday.
• Skies clear up again on Monday with warmer temperatures, breaking 60 degrees.
