GASTON COUNTY — A car chase in Gaston County Friday afternoon ended close to Gaston Day School Road and East Hudson.
Two robbery suspects, a man and woman, were taken into custody.
Law enforcement officers got into a chase with them around 10 a.m. They drove down Union Road into South Carolina, and the chase was called off.
Friday afternoon the pair was spotted returning to North Carolina in their white SUV on New Hope Road. Officers chased again, and used stop sticks.
There was a struggle while police took the suspects into custody.
