• Gastonia police look for armed robber with prescription drugs

    GASTONIA, N.C. - Gastonia police are looking for an armed robber who got away with more than $3,000 worth of prescription drugs.

    The robbery happened at a Walgreen's store on East Franklin Boulevard around 8:30 Friday night.

    Police said the man made off with nearly 40 bottles of oxycodone pills.

    They will review surveillance video on Monday.
