• Minor earthquake felt throughout the Carolinas


    GEORGIA - An earthquake in Georgia shook the Carolinas.

    The epicenter was reportedly just over the border from Edgefield, S.C.

    According to the U.S. Geological Survey, the magnitude was 4.1. The earthquake happened around 10:20 p.m.

    Hundreds of viewers have shared the information on Twitter and on our Facebook page. People from Hickory to Lake Norman to Lancaster, S.C., have reported that they felt a tremor.
