Halloween in Maiden won’t look the same this year due to COVID-19

MAIDEN, N.C. — Maiden attracts thousands of people each year for Halloween. Main Street is usually closed off to traffic for trick-or-treaters.

The CDC is recommending that higher risk events should be avoided. Mayor Max Bumgarner announced Wednesday that Main Street will not be closed as usual this year.
