Harrisburg group looks at racism, sets goals on equity

HARRISBURG, N.C. — Healthcare, schools and law enforcement. Those are three topics a group of Harrisburg citizens are focusing on as they tackle the challenges of racism and move towards the goal of equity.

“Racism seems to be heating up everywhere,” said Harrisburg resident Tywun McWilliams. “I never want that for my children I don’t want that for my grandchildren and so I’m doing whatever I can to make a difference.”
