CHARLOTTE — Charlotte-Mecklenburg police have been stopping at businesses, including restaurants and bars, to enforce rules to help stop the spread of the coronavirus.
A viewer sent Channel 9 video of a crowded bar in South End on Saturday night, where people were packed inside as it rained outside. Videos like that are frustrating health officials.

In recent months, police and Mecklenburg County ABC officers have visited 1,400 businesses.
