CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Investigators ruled that a fire Thursday morning at an east Charlotte home was intentionally set.

Flames could be seen by firefighters when they arrived at the scene at about 1 a.m. in the 4300 block of Sudbury Road.
Three adults were displaced and the damage was worth $30,000, according to the Charlotte Fire Department.
