Honeywell reveals temperature-screening tech for commercial buildings

CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Charlotte-based industrial technology giant Honeywell International Inc. just revealed ThermoRebellion, a temperature-monitoring system that incorporates advanced, infrared imaging and artificial intelligence algorithms to conduct noninvasive, preliminary screening of personnel entering a facility.

The company says the system can be installed in entryways for factories, airports, stadiums and other commercial buildings.

It uses technology from Rebellion Photonics, which Honeywell acquired in December.
